The RC Youth Task force is a youth-led, youth driven group, with the support of engaged adults in the community that meets to address needs of the youth in our community. We as a task force have taken on the project of the National Runaway Prevention Month (NRPM). We will represent SD as the 40th state to participate in this annual November event. The goals of NRPM are twofold: first, to raise awareness of the runaway and homeless youth crisis and the issues that these young people face and, second, to educate the public solutions and the role that they can play in ending youth homelessness.
